Who we are
We are a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting, connecting, and empowering Africans affected by Parkinson's disease (PD). Specifically, we were established to:
- Raise awareness and advance the education of the public about Parkinson's disease, particularly in Africa.
- Promote and support Parkinson’s disease research (including community engagement in research) across the continent.
- Improve patient access to Parkinson’s disease healthcare and treatment options across Africa.
- Provide social support to Africans who suffer from Parkinson’s disease including their families, dependants, friends and carers.
Why we exist
Connect Africans impacted by Parkinson's disease to the information, education, support, and resources they need.
Our Core Values
We can do more together than we can alone.
We understand the value of partnerships and have made it our mission to coalesce all the relevant stakeholders across the continent.
