About Us
Who we are
We are a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting, connecting, and empowering Africans affected by Parkinson's disease (PD). Specifically, we were established to:
- Raise awareness and advance the education of the public about Parkinson's disease, particularly in Africa.
- Promote and support Parkinson’s disease research (including community engagement in research) across the continent.
- Improve patient access to Parkinson’s disease healthcare and treatment options across Africa.
- Provide social support to Africans who suffer from Parkinson’s disease including their families, dependants, friends and carers.
